Table of Contents Zippo lighters bearing automobile advertising are featured here in 673 photographs and illustrations with plenty of identifying information. These unique specimens of Americana were highly prized by their original owners and are regarded with equal respect and appreciation by today's collectors. The logos and images of cars ranging from familiar Fords and Chryslers to lesser-known Bricklins and Tuckers are displayed here on Zippo lighters throughout the mid-to-late twentieth century. Imports, trucks, and companies supporting the auto industry all are immortalized. Also included are histories of the Zippo company, the automobile companies, tips for the care and restoration of lighters, and an examination of decorating techniques.
