Description: For sale is a Zanesville Stoneware? vase. Very thick and heavy, attractive drip glaze planter/vase. 99% sure if is ZSC 1960's-70's. It has a raised number on the bottom #7005 like some Zanesville Stoneware Co. items do, and has yellowish clay. It is about 3/4 of an inch thick at the top and must be at least an inch thick at the base, and has no chips or cracks. I did not see it in my Zanesville book, but that book only covers from the 1950's and earlier. It actually looks much nicer up close than it looks in the pictures. A barrel cactus would look great in this little pot, or you could use it as a candle holder, or as a mortar! Or, just add it to your stonewear collection. You can't even buy cheap modern stonewear for this price!
