Collected from the: Yoruba peoples of Nigeria, West Africa
Material: Wood
Period: Early to mid 20th century
Dimensions: 12.5" height, 9.5" width, 11" depth; weight is 7.4 pounds
Condition: Excellent - exquisite signs of age, wear and extensive tribal use. Age cracks test stable, indigenous repairs to small portion of left rim and the smaller animal's feet remain secure. Stained, smooth worn interior rim and fiber fragments in holes indicative of extensive use - a superb character!
