Description:
WWII German Youth Knife
You are looking at a authentic World War Two German Youth Knife. This knife was given to boys who were too young to join the army, but were being groomed to do so at a later stage in life. This knife is an outstanding piece of history and great for any WWII collection.
The knife measures 9 3/4" in overall length and the blade measures 5 1/2" in length. The blade has some wear to it, obviously, but is in good condition. This blade is double edged, I'm not sure if that is the way they were made or if it was done at a later date. On the blade it is marked with the Eickhorn Squirrel Trade Mark then marked RZM above an M 7/66 also as a 40 slightly above the cross guard of the knife. The pictures that you are looking at is the reverse side of the knife. There was a small crack on the reverse side of the handle which was glued/repaired, all of which is pictured. I encourage anyone who is interested to e-mail me and I can send additional photos of "ALL" the knife.
