Description: Worttemberg Celloid Mantle Clock. Shaped like the front of a building with pillars on each side. It is plaster filled base, with wind up clock. I don't know how to describe condition of the clock, as it is not good, but for celloid, I think it is one of the best I have seen. See photos for condition. The base is split in the front which looks like a dark line, there is a crack that isn't throught the plastic on the top of the 3rd column( you can see that someone tried to pick it up by the lip at one time). The left rear corner is damaged and about 1/4"" piece is missing. I don't have a key for it, so I don't know if it works, but you are purchasing it as not working, so if it does, you have a bonus. The hands move fine. There are 3 screws on the back that remove that will allow the clock to be removed from the front, but it would be a challenge to fix this without damaging the clock. If you are a celloid collector, this is a very nice example of what was done with this material. 8 x 3 1/2 x 4 3/4"" tall
