Description:
So delicate-fine wool, almost like silk! Dating back to the early 1900's, this creamy white runner probably graced a beautiful sideboard and hung down gracefully on each side! It measures 66 inches long, plus the fringe on each end of 12 inches and it is 24 inches wide. The fringe is so beautiful! There are a couple of minute holes in the runner, and one small stain.---for the age of the runner it is in remarkable shape! No documentation on this, but we were told when we bought this piece in an estate that it was hand-loomed by the now Pendlelton Mills of Pendleton, IN. We also have another piece from this early loom company, our #876, all wool paisley tablecloth.
