Description:
This is Woodworking for Everybody by John Shea and Paul Wenger of the International Text Book Company. This is the Third printing of the First School Edition and the First Trade Edition from 1945. It is 11 1/4" tall, 8 3/4" wide with 187 pages. This was stored in a basement and the cover, especially the back shows mold spots that did not come off when the book was carefully cleaned. The book is nice and tight but the cover on the back shows where a 1/2" by 1" section tore and was glued back down. Other than that, the corners and spine ends show very little wear if any. The inside page was signed in ink by a previous owner, but none of the other pages have tears, folds, or writing or discoloration with the exception of some minor stuff inside the back cover, the second page in from the front and page 173 where a bug might have died or doodooed. Projects include simple things like a tie rack to trinket and sea chests, a wall table, manuscript covers, colonial wall shelves, a fireside stool, a turned table, a bow and arrow, a nautical screen and a corner cupboard and much more. Happy Collecting!!!
