Description:
This is a very fine oak seed counter or seed cabinet. This is an exact match to my stock number 13147 except for the length. Professionally restored and in excellent condition - ready to move into your home. This cabinet was made by the famous country store furniture company 'Sherer' of Iowa and, in fact, the drawers retain the original cast iron pulls with the company name embossed on them. This was the more desirable model with 'waterfall' front and unusual triple divided windows. I have sold these over the years mostly as kitchen island but for many other uses - one lady bought one for her sewing room and put thread, pins, cotton, etc., in the window (original thick glass) areas. I do not believe you will find a better example. Each end has pretty paneled sides. This unit has nine drawers each with interior dimensions of 23 deep, 12 wide, and 7 high.
