Description: British school, Original vintage oil painting, third quarter 20th century, signed Suzanne Taylor. An oil on thick paper painting, simply stretched within the frame and protected by board backing. Overall size is 19.7 x 23.6. This is one of a small series of superb portraits in our possession by the hand of a the British painter Suzanne Taylor (1910-1962) of whom we unfortunately know very little. The subtle touch and expressionist sensibility is astonishing. A great and insufficiently known artist. Certificate of authenticity and origin provided.
