Description:
It's one of those outstanding china cabinets you rarely see for sale. Probably Grand Rapids or Horner lineage on this solid oak piece. A carved frieze tops the hood and is held up by a pair of well defined winged griffins with curled under tails and bat wings. A beveled glass mirror reflects from the back and gives you about 12" of height to display pieces under the hood. The top of the hood is also finished so you can add another shelf of display for free. The triple bow glass cabinet below is flanked by two carved pilasters that have lion heads in the middle. A generous interior has four original oak shelves with plate grooves and a full mirror back. Pawfeet in the front. Original brass latch also has the key.
