Well, this watch will take your breath away - at any atmosphere. ENOUGH ALREADY! Yes, this is a dive watch that was marketed by Wingartens of London. Quite an interesting piece that we've never seen before. If you like dive watches you'll love this one! The case is stainless steel and measures 36mm in diameter by 42mm in length. There are two crowns; one - at the 4 o'clock position for winding and setting the time - one at the 2 o'clock positon for rotating the inner bezel. This allows you to measure "bottom time" from the current position of the minute hand. You simply rotate the bezel until the "Broad Arrow" aligns with the position of the minute hand and from that time forward you can have a quick reference to elapsed time by referring to the bezel markings. Perhaps you are not Lloyd Bridges or have never seen a single episode of "Sea Hunt"...no problem this watch just looks fantastic on the wrist and carries all the style and nostalgia of the 1950's so you will look the part! Not only is this a great looking watch but it is a wonderful timepiece as well. The 17 jewel Swiss movement is ticking perfectly and has been lovingly restored by one of our master watchmakers so that it performs flawlessly. As an additional bonus it has an automatic movement that winds as you rotate your wrist so that all you have to do is don the instrument and go merrily on your way.
