Description: Fine condition, all around faux grain painting & pin stripes with new caned seat. Windsor rocking chair or boston rocker with unusual caned seat, scoll arms are made of mahogany which generally indicates the great Boston area. Crest of chair original paint is in fine condition, a faux mahogany graining with yellow pin striping. Signed in 3 places under the seat JW Tibits, maker, decorator, owner? Back stands 42" high, remaining paint besides crest is fair-good.
