Description: A magnificent, rare and large William Moorcroft period flambe red glaze vase and cover with the color being rich and vibrant. The base of the vase carries the full W.Moorcroft painted signature and is dated 1939. Condition: I have discovered that the vase has several cracks visible in the interior so the vase was broken and restored. This example is approximately 16 ¾ inches (42cm) tall. Width: 12 ¼ inches (32cm)
