William Alsager Adderley very nice Anglais platter. Brown aesthetic transferware showing the Warwick Castle with the Guy's Cliffe. British registry mark: October 20, 1883. A chip on one side front corner, surface crazing with ustensils marks, scratches and wear from use and age on the front and back of the piece. See picture for backstamp and registry markings, also impress at back; WAA Ivory, the number 14, and the number 1 painted in brown.
