This was acquired out of a Central Ohio area previous estate, home or sale. WOW!!!!! They dont come any nicer than this! Usually the Willett Furniture Company rope twist tables you will find them in a 6 Leg only. THIS IS THE MORE THOUGHT AFTER 8 LEG TABLE!! This is more of the time period of the late 1940s. This is made of all solid Cherry and underneath is marked # 6152 A. As of Sept. 25, 2007 we do have the Wildwood Cherry by Willett Furniture Co. Buffet as well in another eBay sale. This Buffet is marked # 6151 and then Wildwood Cherry by Willett. When the leaves are down this is 44 x 25 ¾ inches and stands 29 ½ inches tall. When the leaves are up the table becomes 61 3/8 inches long x 44 inches wide. When the leaves are down t is more than enough room to set a chair under each end of the table. THIS PIECE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE. But, if I was this old, I would have a few bumps and bruises on me as well.
