Description: Lovely little Victorian wicker pedestal plant stand made by Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Company. It is shown on page 87 in the reprint of their 1898 catalog "Classic Wicker Furniture" with introduction by Richard Saunders. This stand has a solid quartered oak top with rope molding and lower round shelf. A number of curlicues and birdcages decorate the lower legs and base. It retains the original brass caps on the feet.
