Description: Nice early victorian marked Whiting and Davis Enamel Mesh. Art Deco Compact purse. The enamel is wonderful and so is design. The silver overlay to compact is gone, however, the center silouette design remains in wonderful desgin. Has a blue jeweled inset for opening the compact and purse, still works fine, with no loose parts. The inside still retains the mirror, bakelite comb in insert holder, contains the pads for rouge and powder of 2 comparts, excellent interior. MEasures closed for the compact metal area 2" x 3". Mesh is 4" 6".
