Description: A Wheaton 1971 Christmas decanter with a green satin finish. Embossed with a Christmas tree and Merry Christmas 1971 on the front and on the is The Christmas Tree, This symbol of Christmas originated in Germany in the 1730's...introduced to England by Prince Albert about 1841 and became popular in America around 1847. It is in good condition, some wear on the gold stopper. The Wheaton factory closed in the late 70's and these decanters are expected to increase in value. This would be a nice gift for someone born in 1971.
