Description: This is a beautiful opaque blue glass consol bowl made by the Westmoreland Glass Co. of Grapeville, PA circa 1960. It is known as the Doric Line #3 Lace Edge Round Bowl. The bowl is 2-3/4" high at the rim and 13" in diameter. The foot ring is 4-3/4" in diameter and has been ground and polished at the time of manufacture. The bowl is in excellent condition. There may be some bubbles and straw marks but there are no chips, flakes or cracks. You will see black marks near the bottom in photo #1, in two of the holes, but this is just the easel that I used to hold the plate upright. It's amazing that a glass bowl with this edge has even lasted this long.
