Description:
Produced in gold plated cast iron by Westclox, circa 1907, this rare figural Art Nouveau draped lady clock is an outstanding and rare example of American workmanship and the art of clock making during the turn of the last century. Featuring a draped female figural, copiously adorned with fancy and decorative scrollwork along with an ornate and intricately designed clock face. The back of the clock is marked Pat Oct 2, 1906 and the number 420 is marked at top back along with other patent dates and product information. Standing 11" tall x 8" wide at the base. The condition of the garniture is excellent but the wind up mechanism of the clock needs attention.
