This is a beautiful English Victorian Welsh Dresser. We purchased it in Gloucester, England. The Welsh Dresser is made of Oak. It has a rich Medium Oak Patina. This is a Gothic Revival Welsh Dresser. It is in very good condition. The Dresser has a striking Gallery Back. The Gallery has a Canopy Pediment. The Frieze across the front is a beautifully carved Egg and Tear Drop Pattern. The Two Plate Rails which flow across the Gallery are carved with plated Grooves for displaying your fine Fine China. Unique China Cabinets are inset between the Shelves for displaying precious collectibles. The Back of the Gallery is beautifully paneled. The Base is composed of Two Drawers over Two Doors. The Drawers open to reveal spacious fitted interiors. A symbol of the grand craftsmanship are the Dovetail Joints. The Drawers are carved with a pattern which mirrors that of the Egg and Tear Drop Pattern of along the Pediment. The Doors are embellished with dramatic Floral, Foliage, and Geometric Guilloche Carving across the top. The Panel is made in a Double Cathedral Design. Acanthus Scroll Work flows down the Sides. This piece has all of its original Victorian Hardware including the ornate Hinges and Ring Pulls. The Welsh Dresser is supported upon Stile Feet. This is a splendid English Victorian Gothic Revival Welsh Dresser. It will be a beautiful addition to any formal dining room. Your collection of fine china will display beautifully upon it.
