Description: On offer is a green jasperware plate, made by Wedgewood Potters in England approximately 1970. Jasperware was discovered by Josiah Wedgwood in the 19th Century and the company became renowned for it. It was introduced at the Great Exhibition in 1850 with the wonderful Portland Vase. This plate is a light olive green with white Grecian style head in the centre and acanthus leaves surrounding the rim. It is a great piece for any collector or admirer.
