Description: Beautiful Wedgwood Commemorative 10 1/2" Plate celebrating the Freemasons of Union Lodge. Blue and white transferware. The back of the plate says Schofield House Indiana's Masonic Shrine, Madison, Indiana, Brick residence at Madison, erected in 1817 by Major Alexander C. Lanier, provided temporary second floor quarters for the Freemasons of Union Lodge. Here, on January 12,1818, the Grand Lodge F. & A. M. of Indiana was constituted. Marked with both the Wedgwood symbol and Masonic symbol. A gorgeous plate, it is in mint condition with no chips or cracks.
