Description: Antique Wavecrest glass dresser or jewellery box. Made USA, 1890's.

Measures approx 3 1/4 inches accross and 2 7/8 inches high.

Round shape with moulded fan shells on the lid and sides. Colours are off-white/cream with pink shells. The space inbetween the shells is handpainted with very delicate enamel flowers in shades of blue and white with fine, soft foliage.

The metal mounts are gilded and have a very pretty beaded pattern. Hinge and clasp are in good shape.

Inside is lined with original silk. Very unusual to have the original silk, both top and bottom in such good condition.

Underneath is WAVECREST mark.

Good condition - no chips/cracks/damage/restorations.
