WALTHAM 21 JEWEL VANGUARD 1892 MODEL Circa: 1903. This 1892 model features a recessed balance and beautiful movement plates. This model is cased in a fancy gold filled case and is clean, running. The 18 size railroad is very impressive and has the original long stem bow and crown. Very nice. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Double sunken white procelain with bold Arabic figures, original black spade blued hands and marked: "WALATHAM". Some light hairlines at the edges with a tiny chip outside of of the minute tract does not seem to distract.
MOVEMENT: 18 size, full plate nickel, lever set, "21 JEWEL VANGUARD", with recessed balance design, all 14k rose gold screw down jewel settings, #12,051,015. Excellent plates, bright color, excellent original condition.
CASE: Excellent yellow gold filled, screw back and bezel fancy open face case. Free of dings, dents, or wear to brass.
