Stradivari Pattern 1937-
We are pleased to offer this lovely butter spreader by Wallace Silver in the Stradivari pattern.
This is very pretty piece. This spreader is in new condition as it is still sealed in the original ‘Wallace Sterling’ bag. This would be a great replacement piece or to add to your existing collection.
Wallace Silversmiths were originally founded by Robert Wallace, the descendent of enterprising Scottish immigrants, in an old grist mill making spoons under the name R. WALLACE & CO.
The company continued and prospered and continued to operate, under various owners in Wallingford, Connecticut until 1986. Meriden and its neighboring town of Wallingford were famed for being the home to the finest New England silversmiths for centuries.
