Description:
This is an English Victorian Gothic Wall Display Curio Cabinet. It is made of Oak and has a rich, Deep Oak Patina. We purchased it in Oxford, England. It is in very good condition. This is an extremely beautiful Wall Cabinet. It is profusely carved. At the top is a finely formed, Pronounced Cornice. It is carved with Egg and Dart Ornament. Just below is an Ornamental Frieze. It is carved with a graceful Rosette Arch Pattern. This Pattern is repeated along the center of the Glazed Doors. At the Bottom of the Cabinet along the Apron the Pattern is reversed. The Doors have a Interwoven Pattern of Guilloche carved along the Vertical Stiles that frame the glass. Each Door has Two Panes of Glass. The Molding that frames them is incredibly detailed. The Doors open to reveal three Long Shelves flowing across their centers. Your fine collectibles will display beautifully in this functional Cabinet. The Hardware is all original. This includes the Lock and Skeleton Key. The age of the piece can be affirmed by the beautifully paneled back. The Apron is pronounced. This English Victorian Gothic Wall Cabinet will add a refined Victorian era flair to your interior design scheme. If you have a collection of period pieces to display, this Cabinet is the perfect choice. WE HAVE MANY MORE PHOTOS OF THIS WALL CABINET. PLEASE CONTACT US AND WE WILL BE HAPPY TO SEND THEM TO YOU!!! :)
