Description: Vintage walking stick, in a New Zealand timber. I think it is rewarewa, but not sure. The walking stick has a natural rounded handle tapering into the stem, and tapering down to the tip. The stick is quite short, measuring only 78 cm long (30.3/4 inches). The foot tip is natural, no rubber or metal cap. A few minor scuffs, but basically in excellent condition. This item came from the Wagener Museum in Northland, NZ. It would date around the very early 20th century.
