Description: Offered is a hand carved wooden Guan Yin from China. It is guaranteed to be old and not a reproduction. There are still traces of light and dark pigment over parts of the carving. The back has a wooden plug, probably where it was attached to the wall of a temple. Overall the condition is very good, there is a small rift in the face. The face gives a sense of serenity and it is a very pleasing wood carving.
