Description: For sale is a vintage USA stoneware cookie jar. Very cute vintage stoneware beanpot style cookie jar; (similar ones are shown in my books on vintage cookie jars). This has an incised USA mark on bottom. Age estimate: c:1930-40's. Could be a McCoy, Morton, or RRP, etc. This pot has a very thick, bottom dry bottom and has no chips or cracks, just some small glaze pops and misses. This cookie jar has almost all the cold paint intact and is 5.5 inches high, the lid is 6.5 inches wide, and at fattest part of pot it is about 9 inches wide. A great old cookie jar for your collection!
