Corning Amber Visionware Visions Glass Cookware Double Boiler. This line was made from the 1983 to 1992 and has long been discontinued, getting harder and harder to find. The double boiler is one of the harder to find pieces. The saucepan that the boiler insert fits into holds 1.5 Liters and can be used with or without the boiler insert, in excellent condition. The Visions line is glass and was made in the USA or France. Earlier pieces were made in France, production was later moved to the USA. Go Green with this set, glass is safe for cooking, no health worries and since glass heats more quickly you can cook at a lower heat setting thus saving on energy costs! This piece would be a terrific addition to your cookware or a great start to a new one!
