Description:
Here is a simple tote perfect any situation: groceries shopping, library trips, needlework, as a purse, diaper bag etc. I actually have one of these bags and I use it for carrying my needlepoint around on trips, from room to room and when I go to babysit children.
This bag is made by Nora, my 90-year-old grandmother-in-law. No joke, she is 90 this year and made several of these for me to sell about 3 years ago. She spent her whole life as a single mom working as a seamstress to support herself and her son. Unfortunately, she really cannot sew anymore due to her age and health, but I told her I would sell what she has already made.
This particular Nora bag is made from a vintage recycled leftover fabric from a project probably in the early 1970s. I believe is 100% cotton. The interior white lining, again, I believe is 100% cotton. The interior has a zipper pocket on the side which is perfect for stashing a cell phone or anything small. There are dual straps.
Bag measures 17" at widest point and 15.5" at narrowest point and 15" in height. Bag with a fully opened mouth measures about 15.5" in diameter.
