Description: Way back in the women were devious era, a way of self protection was to eliminate all your enemies as subtly as possible. Thus came the poison ring with the hidden compartment and quick release latch. This ring is very medieval or gothic looking and it has a 1/4 carat amethyst center. With black enameling like snakes on the top, it measures 1" long on your finger. The sides have little golden adornments on it along with beautiful open metal work. See the photo next to a dime and you can tell it is not a tiny little ring. The size is 8 1/2 which enables most of us to wear this on our pointer finger ( look out Barnabas collins!). The ring is sterling and in excellent condition. We offer Layaway on all our pieces regardless of which site it comes from.
