Description:
This is a beautiful Staffordshire, England bone china paperweight, posy or ornament that is a hand made bouquet of flowers in a white bowl. It is rare to find older pieces in such excellent condition! This piece was made in the 1930s by Golden Crown China of Staffordshire, England and features a pink tipped carnation-type flower, a pale yellow rose and a blue flower. There are also green leaves. We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these arrangements by hand from a lump of clay. Beautiful! This posy in in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations.
