Description: For sale is a vintage spice cabinet. (it can be also be used for sewing notions). This is a very attractive solid wood box with ceramic drawer pulls. This is vintage, but not yet antique. If you want an antique primitive one from the 1800's, expect to pay $450.00 minumum! (see Linda Franklin's book, pg.396). I put this in the kitchen collectibles category and the sewing category, since it can be used for spices, or for sewing notions like (buttons, threads, thimbles, etc.) It is very attractive as you can see; just needs a bit of Old English light wood scratch cover around the side edges. It stands 13.75 inches tall x 9.25 inches wide.
