Description:
This full-size, detailed mock up of a ladies' shoe appears to be a
shoe salesman sample or a manufacturing prototype from the
1930's or 40's. The style with the chunky heels and funny little
tassel on the shoe strings just looks like those styles you see
during war time ads. The cream colored surface looks like chalk
but is heavier appears to be an older
composition material. I can find no maker marks and the bottom
heel has a gray felt like material which was removed from the
sole. I guess someone did it to look for some marking. It is in
good shape with no damage or defects to report. The size is 10
inches long, 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The inside is
scooped out and about 2 inches deep. Makes a great display
piece for a shoe collection, a display of salesman's samples, or a
collection of prototypes. Check my inventory for other items of
interest.
