Description: Attractive vintage Princess sewing box and sewing notions. c.1950-55. Peach colored sewing basket with sewing motif on the top. It has a foil label on interior that reads: Princess, Algonquin, Illinois, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. #2536590 and 2574371. It is 6.25 tall x 11 wide. It is in pretty darn good condition; just a bit of wear around top rim, and a soil spot on the cloth strings, very minor. Inside it is stuffed with sewing items including an old A&P sewing needle pack; thread, zippers still in the packages; three red tomato pin cushions; a ceramic boot pin cushion; other needle packages; lace, etc. Lots of goodies; some of packages have dates from the 1970's on them; some are earlier, some are newer. Great to give as a gift for someone with a vintage theme going on in their craft or sewing room! This would make a fabulous gift for the person you know that has a sewing or crafts room and loves vintage items!
