Description: Here is a great pond model. A real working pond model – at least it was originally. I see remnants or a spot on the top where I guess a switch may have been. The model is carved of wood. It has great sails with attached felt numbers on the sails. The sails are completely hand made and they are in relatively good condition. It appears to me that one has just a little bit of deterioration starting to happen on the lower left corner. At the top of the sails one of the masts had an old repair that is painted white and the repair needs to be done better. It is complete with an anchor and a little ships wheel. It has nice gild decoration with the name Emma C. Berry. This is a very very nice sailing model – I have no idea if it will work as a mechanical pond model but it sure is a beauty. It is a very attractive and well done - and not tampered with which is what I like about it. It appears to me to date from some time in the early 1900’s. It measures 44 ½” at longest x 41” at highest x 11” deep. Striving For Excellence It isn’t brilliance or just getting the breaks, It is consistent attention to & honest respect for the Customer.
