Description: Terrific, big old picnic basket! Stained wooden slats with a solid wooden lid with two hinges for opening. It has two very large bent wooden handles. There are no markings. The basket is still very sturdy. It is in great condition for it's age, there are a couple of slats that are damaged on the bottom corners, underneath. I don't see a real problem with this. It measures 11 1/2" tall and 17 1/2" long x 10"wide, the handles extend up to make it 17 1/2" tall, what a great piece! The perfect item and condition for our shabby chic or country homes. It would look great in your bathroom holding your extra tissue or rolled up towels. Place it in your living room for those magazines, or yarn. I can think of so many uses.
