Description: This french fry slicer is metal with a heavy aluminum base with red wood handles and a two little gold stripes around the center. It is marked on the bottom with A Nutbrown Product, Made in England, Registered Design, Patented. It measures 10" by 3 1/2" when flat and 5 3/4" by 6 1/2" when extented. It is in overall good condition, there is some slight wear to the paint on the ends of the handles, it does take some force to push it up and down, looks like a couple of the slide rods are slighty bent and probably need some vegie oil on them to lubricate the slides, I do think the slides could be straightened. It comes from a smoke free home and would be a terrific addition to a vintage Kitchen display or collection!
