Description:
When you want all eyes on you, wear this pin proudly. Mint condition, C1960's, pin has 6 fully faceted, prong set marquise glass stones on each side, enclosed in oval leaves with smooth and textured twisted gold tone borders. Originally part of a signed Napier set: Chain which was used with pin and signed Napier, bracelet and earrings, also signed Napier. This pin appears in the book, Unsigned Gems. The oval leaves come together at the top of the pin, which is highlighted by a smooth gold tone twist. In the center of the two leaves is a long, 5 stem trembler, each ending in a matching marquise glass stone. The peridot color of the stones compliments the gold tone and glistens and glimmers with the light. Each stone is foil backed. Pin is 4 1/2 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. Trembler, swinging in between the two leaves, is 3 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The trembler swings behind the leaves, moving with the wearer. Acquired from a private estate sale of a California artist. The quality and design of this pin are outstanding.
