Description: This is an authentic Movie Theater Backdrop from the mid 1900's. Just like the old Vaudeville Backdrops, this large canvas banner features advertising from the local retail merchants. Extremely well painted this piece was produced by Grosh & Company in Hollywood California. The ornate gold frames around each of the merchants signs looks very realistic, almost 3D. The center panel depicts a Beach scene appears to have been added later, overtop the original. Size 20'L x 12'H This large banner would make a great mural for a wall in a home theater or used as a display curtain in a retail store.
