Vintage Mexican Inlaid Stone & Brass Oval Box, 20th C.
Description: Vintage Inlaid Stone & Brass Oval Table Box, Mid-20th C. Probably Mexico. The surface of the cover and sides of the box are decorated with an inlaid stone pattern of flowers and leaves on a crushed lapis blue stone ground. The base of the box is raised on four small semi-circular feet. The box is not visibly signed or marked. Dimensions: 5-5/8" Long, 4-1/8" Wide, 1-3/4" Deep. Weight: 0.9lbs. (14oz.) Condition: There is some light scratching/wear to the surface and edges of the box. There are some small marks/holes to the blue lapis ground (appear to be manufacturing flaws). There is some scratching/wear to the gold paint along the interior surfaces of the box. Otherwise, the piece is in good condition.
