Description: Very attractive vintage McCoy Pottery stoneware cookie jar. c.1942. Very attractive and hard to find this one! Hefty cookie jar with rich caramel color with burgandy and aqua cold paint. Not marked, and the book states that this concave cookie jar was not marked. It is shown on pg. 221 of Vol. 2 of the McCoy series books by B. Hanson. It came in black, and blue also. It but has a thick dry bottom rim revealing tan clay and stands 10 inches tall x 7 inches wide. No chips or cracks and 99% of cold paint is intact! A great cookie jar for your collection! Guaranteed authentic, vintage McCoy Pottery! You've probably never come across this one before!
