Description: For sale is a vintage matchsafe and trivet. Great cross collectibles: Kitchen and Tobacianna! One is a painted cast iron matchsafe, it has strikers on the sides and bottom, and an eyelet for hanging. The other is a painted trivet, similar colors. The trivet is 8 long x 4 wide. The matchsafe is about 4 wide x 4.5 long and has some rust on the interior of it, and little rust on the exterior. Just cute kitchen collectibles to add to your collection! According to the book on trivets, the hand-painted ones were made in the 1950's and earlier.
