Description: German school Original vintage oil painting, third quarter 20th century, signed U. Clasen dated 'IX 1966'. Oil on canvas, in adapted period frame and signed by the artist. Overall size 18.1 x 22.0. A beautiful work in the better Van Gogh tradition. Thick impasto and superb balance. The artist is unfortunately unknown to us.
