The back has the full details of the mural, "Legend of the Mural...The Yaqui Indian Story Teller, in his white serape and typical Mexican clothes, is standing in the center. The old Navajo woman sitting with a blanket about her shoulders, and her little grandchild, are listening to his tales. The young Navajo man seated to the left is also listening to the story teller. A little lamb, as might be expected to be found with the Navajos, is also shown. Raising sheep is one of their principle occupations. The woman on the extreme left is of the Pueblos and carries a melon beneath her arm. She wears a turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace. The the Indian, Jewelry is wealth, and they like to wear all they can. At the far right an Apache Brave is seen standing with a rifle in his hands. His confidence is in his weapon. Ceramic interpretation of one of the magnificent Jay Datus murals, in the main office of The First National Bank of Arizona, Phoenix."
