Beautiful Vintage Italy Murano Fratelli Toso Millifiori Double Handled Vase. This vase is breathtaking! This vase is the work of the Murano firm of Fratelli Toso, made in the early 20th century, between 1900 and 1920. Not as well known as other Murano factories such as Barbini and Seguso, they were the first to revive the old Venetian art glass in 1854. Fratelli Toso was a versatile company, but they are best known for their work with millefiori. This piece has the millifiori pattern with several different complex murrines, the stretch color neck and applied stretch cane handles. It is 4 1/4 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches across the mouth of the vase and about 3 1/4 inches across the body of the vase. It is in excellent condition, no damage and no repairs.
