Another timeless classic beauty purse. As fashionable today as it was when it was purchased.

This designer purse is by Ingber. It was a very progressive design house in NYC that was in operation from 1903 - 1966.

This purse is made of a wonderful soft and well kept black velvet. It has a brass clasp and a tortoiseshell bakelite scroll handle. The interior features the Ingber logo in gold on black satin lining. There are three pockets, one of which is a zipper pocket.

INteresting tidbit of information: Ingber designed the carpet bag that was used int he Disney movie "Around the World in 80 Days".

The whole purse is in excellent condition. I question whether it was ever used. No rips, tears, stains or flaws.
