Description:
Outstanding covered Tobacco Jar decorated with an
Indian smoking a pipe, a tobacco plant and a barrel
labeled Virginia Tobacco. The other side has a tobacco
leaf and a large pipe. This jar has a great heavy brown
shinny ceramic lid with a gasket inside with a wooden
ring holding the sponge. All these are in really good
shape and give a good seal to the jar. The cream
colored jar has brown high lights around the base. The
bottom has the black Made In Japan stamp. No chips or
cracks noted and only normal manufacturing variances.
I think it is a really striking Tobacco Jar and will make a
nice addition to someone's collection. See my inventory
for other smoking items.
